About Aristo

At Aristo we’re a company that believes in striving to exceed the expectations of every customer through a unique combination of precision and reliability.

Based in the German industrial city of Hamburg, we design everything in-house, and only ever work with specialist suppliers who we trust from our local area. That way we can guarantee the quality and durability of everything we put our name to.

From humble beginnings in 1862 to the global company that we are today, we have achieved everything by committing to technical excellence and customer service. We began by making precision slide rules, moved onto geometric data processing, and today we’ve used our decades of experience to become a world leading designer and manufacturer of large format computer controlled flatbed cutters.

Rather than develop innovative technology and then look for a space in the market it can fill, we look at things from a different angle. By putting the needs of the customer first we’re able to consistently develop easy to use, ultra-reliable hardware that stands the test of time. Whether it be our easy to change cutting heads or our intuitive user interfaces, everything we create is designed and built specifically because our customers need it that way.

We’re proud to combine a forward looking approach to design and manufacture with a best-in-class support and customer service team with contacts all over the world. As part of that vision we have recently partnered with Crest who have the contacts and experience needed to introduce our products to more customers across the UK and Ireland. Together we know that we can continue to provide the uncompromising service and performance that we’re known for.

It’s an approach that has seen us recognised by our home city in the form of the prestigious City of Hamburg Innovation Award. Through our unique combination of precision and reliability we can continue to provide the zero downtime experience that’s just as important today as it was when we first got started in 1862.
